When producing prototype cosmetic trays and packaging, they found 3D printing was too slow and expensive. As designers and not tool makers, they needed for a more suitable solution that was both quick and inexpensive, and found Formech.

They selected the 300XQ machine (now replaced by the 450DT model) to produce their prototypes, which are more detailed and can be closer to the final version, helping the process to move faster.

From these prototypes, HCT can then manufacture an extensive selection of stock and custom packaging options.
