Formech, a global leader in vacuum forming technology, today announced the launch of the 4824LF, a new large-format vacuum forming machine designed specifically to meet the demands of the North American market.
Making its public debut at Pack Expo International, the 4824LF serves as an alternative to the Formech 1372, delivering significant upgrades in efficiency, control, and material yield.
For over a decade, the Formech 1372 served as an industry mainstay across industrial plastic fabrication, packaging prototyping, automotive trim, and point-of-sale display manufacturing. The new 4824LF builds upon that engineering foundation while transitioning to a native US imperial sizing format.
Designed for a dedicated 48" x 24" (1220mm x 610mm) sheet size, the 4824LF is optimized directly for standard North American stock sheet dimensions. This eliminates unnecessary trimming, significantly reduces material waste, and streamlines pre-production preparation for plastics fabricators and packaging producers.
