Formech 4824LF vacuum former (US spec)

Designed for a dedicated 48" x 24" sheet size, the NEW 4824LF is optimized directly for standard North American stock sheet dimensions. This eliminates unnecessary trimming, significantly reduces material waste, and streamlines pre-production preparation for plastics fabricators and packaging producers.
Introduced in 2026 and engineered for both heavy-duty production runs and rapid prototyping, the 4824LF incorporates several major technological advancements over the Formech 1372:
US-Optimized Sheet Alignment
A 4' x 2' sheet area matches standard North American plastic sheet sizing.
Precision Zone Heating
Advanced quartz heating elements with independent zone control ensure uniform heat distribution across complex tool geometries and challenging materials.
Intelligent Touchscreen Interface
An upgraded PLC control system allows operators to store multi-user recipe presets, enabling faster job changeovers and reduced setup times.
Heavy-Duty Vacuum Power
Enhanced vacuum power provides accurate detail definition when forming thick-gauge materials and high-depth tools.
Energy-Efficient Operation
Smart standby modes and targeted heating zones minimize power consumption during batch production.
The 4824LF is ideally suited to prototyping, product development, and low-to-medium volume production across automotive, aerospace, set and prop design, point of sale, and other industrial applications.

- 3m x 12mm air connection pipe supplied with 12mm push-in to 1/2" BSPT fitting
- 12mm push-in tube fitting on machine (connected to 1/2" BSP regulator)
- Approx. 5m flying lead, with exposed conductor wires to connect to mains power box
- Recycled HIPS sample sheets
- 12 months warranty

Please note: The Formech 4824LF is only available in the USA. With so many options and accessories, Formech Large Format vacuum forming machines can be configured in multiple ways. We will advise on the right set-up for your products and projects, run tests on your tooling and materials, then create a bespoke quote based on your requirements and needs. Typical delivery time is 10-12 weeks from payment but will be confirmed when the order is placed.
NB: The minimum material thickness is 0.4mm/0.016 inches. To use a thinner material, please contact us to discuss sending a sample to test.
