Formech TF1050 reel-fed vacuum former (US spec)

The TF1050 is Formech’s largest automated and reel-fed vacuum forming machine, offering industrial, manufacturing and packaging customers the maximum combination of sheet and reel thermoforming options within a reasonably-sized machine.

The forming area of 39.4 x 39.4 inches is large enough for a wide range of uses from a sheet size of 41.3 x 41.3 inches or reels of upto 41.3 inches wide.

The TF1050 comes with a range of high-end features as standard, such as Plug Assist, pneumatic clamping, table, and heater drive with ceramic elements, cooling system, vacuum tank, safety light curtain, remote connectivity, and an extensive range of options.

Heating and Cooling pyrometers
Sensor to provide accurate sheet temperature feedback and initiate mould release upon reaching target temperature.

Digitally controlled flow valves
Control the air flow more accurately via software for pre-stretch and auto-level functions, the pneumatic table, and mould release, as well as the vacuum.

Ceramic heaters
Ceramic heaters are well suited for high volume production when heaters are engaged for long periods and constant temperature must be maintained.
